College Football

At Bates, Lyle competed on its NCAA Division III college football team, becoming a three-year starter and 3x letter-winner. He was a member of the first Bates senior class since 1900 to win three CBB titles (gained by defeating rivals Bowdoin and Colby). He was named to the 2015 NESCAC All-Sportsmanship Team, awarded to those who “through positive action and leadership… inspire others” and to the NESCAC All-Academic Team in all three eligible seasons.

Summer Camp

Lyle spent five summers in New Hampshire at Camp Pemigewassett, a place of the outdoors, the performing arts, fresh water, and dirt underfoot.
